Complete renovation of a single-family house in Costa de la Calma. Where we sought to follow a fresh and minimal line, without excesses.
Neutral materials have been used, such as stone and wood, and flat colours, breaking with the dark kitchen that becomes the most important piece of the house.
The furniture, also neutral, is only broken by small touches of colour that harmonise the rooms, showing the calm and tranquillity that the house breathes… The furniture has been used sparingly so as to leave the rooms clean and uncluttered, without overloading them with objects.
A large part of the furniture has been made to measure for each space. This is the case of the fireplace unit, the reading area in the living room, the bathroom furniture… and the dressing table in the dressing room, which has a dual function. On the one hand, to take advantage of the central area and place a chest of drawers, with the addition of a hinged door at one of its ends, in which an illuminated mirror appears when it opens. Also, a stool has been created in the same wood in dark tones and the cushion has been lined in black leather.
